1.Limni Beach
Limni Beach is a really small paradise and consists of a narrow peace of land between a rocky peninsula and the main island. Because of its unique double-bay shape, you get two different swimming experiences in one place. One side usually features calmer, shallower waters with a rocky bottom, while the other side opens up to deeper, crystal-clear blue waters.
How to Get There:
Located near the picturesque village of Liapades on the west coast of Corfu. You can drive close to the area, park your car alongside the dirt road, and from there, it is about a 500-meter hike down a rough path through the olive trees. The walk takes around 20 to 30 minutes. The path can be steep and rocky in some parts, so flip-flops won’t do the trick—make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers.
Good to Know:
Limni Beach is 100% unorganized. There are no beach bars, no restaurants, and no natural shade. You must bring everything you need for the day: plenty of drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, and ideally a beach umbrella.
2.Yali Beach

Keep in mind that due to the high cliffs behind the beach, the sun sets a bit earlier here, casting a beautiful, cooling shadow over the pebbles in the late afternoon. Aso requires good physical condition and proper athletic shoes. Water and snacks are necessary. There are no umbrellas, no sunbeds on the beach.
3.Arkoudilas Beach
Situated at the absolute southernmost tip of Corfu, Arkoudilas is the complete opposite of the busy resort of Kavos, which is just a few kilometers away. It is a massive, sweeping bay of golden sand backed by towering, dramatic clay cliffs and a dense, dark-green cypress forest. High above the beach, hidden in the woods, lie the ruins of a 17th-century monastery. Walking onto Arkoudilas feels like you have reached the edge of the world.

Reaching this southern gem requires a little effort, which is exactly why it remains an unspoiled paradise. You need to drive towards the village of Spartera. From there, a long, rough dirt road begins. Unless you have rented a 4×4 vehicle or an ATV, it is highly recommended to park your regular car at the top and walk the rest of the way. The hike down takes about 30 to 40 minutes through a beautiful, shaded forest track before the scenery suddenly opens up to the endless blue sea.
Good to Know:
Do what the locals do: break off a small piece of clay, mix it with a few drops of seawater to create a mud paste, and apply it to your face and body. Let it dry under the Greek sun, wash it off in the waves, and your skin will feel incredibly smooth! Also, remember to bring your own water and snacks, as the beach is mostly unorganized.
4.Akoli Beach
Akoli Beach is hidden deep within the protected nature reserve of Erimitis. This area is an ecosystem of unparalleled natural beauty, filled with lush green hills and wetlands. What makes Akoli truly special is what lies right behind it: slightly hidden by dense vegetation is the serene Akoli Pond, a beautiful wetland that attracts rare migratory birds. It is one of the largest unspoiled beaches in the Erimitis area, stretching for about 300 meters.
How to Get There:
Located on the northeast coast of Corfu, Due to its remote location in the nature reserve, there is absolutely no road access to the beach itself. To get to Akoli overland, you have to follow one of the beautiful hiking trails through the Erimitis forest. You can start your hike either from Avlaki Beach in the north, Agios Stefanos Sinion in the south, or from the military radar tower area. The hike is incredibly scenic, leading you through lush vegetation and offering glimpses of the Albanian coast across the sea.

Since Akoli Beach is completely wild and unorganized, you cannot buy food or drinks anywhere nearby. You must bring your own supplies. Don’t forget to pack a good pair of walking shoes and perhaps a pair of binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching near the pond! Don’t try to get in there.
5.Issos Beach:
Issos Beach has a landscape here will make you feel like you are in a completely different country. Issos is right next to Chalikounas, separated only by a small forest of cedar trees and the Korission Lagoon. A paved road from the village of Linia will take you right to a large, unpaved parking area right in front of the dunes. No hiking boots are required here, just a short walk through the soft sand to reach the water.
Good to Know:
If you visit Issos, you absolutely must stay until the evening. Because the beach faces completely west and there are no mountains blocking the view, it offers arguably the most spectacular, uninterrupted sunset on the entire island. Grab a cold drink, sit on top of a high sand dune, and watch the sun melt into the sea! In the center of the beach you can find also a lively organized section offering sunbeds and a water sports center.
